NSF-funded study on the teaching and learning of symmetry

Hi everyone! We're currently recruiting inorganic chemistry course instructors (for the Fall 2023 semester and beyond) for a large-scale study aimed at exploring the teaching and learning of symmetry. The end goal of this project is to generate evidence-based recommendations and resources for teaching and learning symmetry.

The PhET Project at CU-Boulder (http://phet.colorado.edu) is seeking applicants for a chemistry education post-doc position focusing on the design, integration, and study of PhET simulations for College Chemistry at the introductory / general chemistry level.  I've been working on this project for the last year and a half, and it's really cool!

The Summit Conference on ChemEd DL/ChemEd Research is an opportunity to learn about creating online learning materials using ChemEd DL resources and then learn how to plan, execute, and analyze a chemical education research project to test how effectively your materials improve student learning.
