Team SLiThEr is in the final stages of planning our events for the spring of 2022. If you aren't familiar with SLiThErs it stands for Supporting Learning with Interactive Teaching: a Hosted, Engaging Roundtable. These are short presentations followed by discussion presented via Zoom. Or even better, you can visit our collection of the 29 we have hosted date. Topics have included mental health, assessment, DEIJ issues, inorganic topics and everything in between. While the schedule for the spring is not entirely set, we can announce the dates for the first three.

The February 2nd SLiThEr will be presented by Chip Nataro and will cover what CBC is, why he adopted it, how it works and maybe even a little on his thoughts on applying it beyond the transition metals. We do ask for people to register in advance here. A Zoom link will be emailed to you the day of the SLiThEr and posted in the VIPErPit, our Discord server.
