That's right! You read that correctly, meetings plural. I'll start with the one that is currently accepting submissions - the Spring 2019 meeting in Orlando. My minions, Emily Sylvester and Chip Nataro, will be doing all the leg work (which they have to do, me being a snake and all) for our annual symposium. We are now accepting submissions here. We expect to have three oral sessions as well as a poster session. Consider this your invitation to present. We will limit oral presentations to one per research group. Undergraduate students are eligible for oral presentations, but please only submit talks for students that you know will be well-prepared to give a high-quality presentation. In addition to our scientific sessions we will also hold a social hour. Hopefully it will be even bigger and better than last spring in New Orleans. Stay tuned for more details.

You might be thinking to yourself, "Flo, didn't you say meetings?" Yes I did. I am happy to announce that for the first time we will be having one of our symposia at the fall meeting! That's right, we will be at the Fall 2019 meeting in San Diego. Once again, there will be oral and poster components to our symposium. Details are still being worked out, by I do know that Nancy Williams and Chip Nataro will be running that show. I am sure there will be updates in the future.

If you have any questions about our ACS symposia, contact Chip Nataro.

That's it for this time, loyal BITeS readers. Keep on slytherin'.
