The purpose of the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry Undergraduate Award in Inorganic Chemistry is to recognize achievement by undergraduate students in inorganic chemistry and to encourage further study in the field. Every ACS Certified Department is eligible to nominate one student for this award. The student nominee will have demonstrated excellence in inorganic chemistry at the undergraduate level based on any combination of research, coursework, and /or motivation / interest / dedication as defined by their nominating institution and should have future plans that include a career in chemistry. Each student nominated will receive a letter of commendation from the Chair of the Division of Inorganic Chemistry.
This award was established in 2009 by the Division of Inorganic Chemistry and nominates are due annually no later than June 30.
