Dear VIPEr Colleagues,

We just published a follow-up to our J. Chem. Educ. contribution "Black Panther, Vibranium and the Periodic Table," last month entitled "What Can Black Panther Teach Us About Transition Metal Chemistry?" The lastest article is available from the journal, The Chemical Educator. You can access the article from the link below. However, I truly believe we can use Marvel Studio movies to engage students in the classroom and teach them about inorganic chemistry too! I am interested in exploring if we can somehow link the incorporation of science fiction or pop culture in the chemistry curriculum with measuring grit/persistance of students.
