Here is something one of my undergraduate thesis students found and showed me today: a helpful guide to writing abstracts.  I am tempted to forward this on to my inorganic lab students, but I shudder to read their lab report abstracts afterwards!

I sent this to my student and she included it as the actual abstract for her thesis draft.  I helped her fill in words.  fun.
