It's been a long, a long time coming

But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will.-  Sam Cooke

A few changes have happened to the VIPEr website overnight! We're rolling out the web content for the next phase of the NSF supported IONiC VIPEr project! And we're super excited to introduce the first cohort of VIPEr Fellows, along with Flo's new snakey BFF, Feller!

These 19 brave souls (20, if you count Feller) are inviting us into their inorganic classrooms to learn more about how to effect and support faculty change. Some of our Fellows are longtime FoVs (friends of VIPEr) and others are just sipping the kool-aid for the first time,

The Fellows have been working with Team Research (a subset of the Leadership Council) since mid-summer to get the groundwork laid for the research study. They, like you, are now waist-deep in their semesters, and possibly wondering why in the world they volunteered to take on anything extra! But Team Research is motivated by the opportunity to learn from the VIPEr Fellows!

The first cohort of Fellows has folks from small Liberal Arts Colleges to large public Research I institutions, and everything in between. They live and work all across the United States. We worked hard to recruit a diverse group of faculty members because we're committed to providing content and community that is available, accessible, and applicable for faculty and students, no matter their learning environment.

Take a few minutes to get to know them as they will be sharing their thoughts and progress with the VIPEr community through a Reflections Blog (link coming soon!). Maybe their experiences will give you the little push you need to really take active learning and VIPEr into your classroom.
