We've got an old glovebox that's great for a teaching lab, though not much else. It's a flux box, meaning it has a bubbler on the back rather than a dry-train. The advantage of that is that you don't have to care for a dry train, and you only have to hook up nitrogen to it the week(s) you're doing the glovebox lab. It's not practical for storing compounds or research--it really is ideal for bringing up when you need to do a lab, and then not worrying about it for a year.

We've used it for years, and it works great. However, one of my collegues is getting a new research glovebox, and it needs to go in that space.
