Join us on Tuesday June 27th at 4 pm eastern for the 51st SLiThEr!
Desmos is a free, online suite of math tools including a graphing calculator that you might be familiar with. If you don't know it, there is a good chance your students do as it is used on many state-level assessments. But there is more to Desmos that just the graphing calculator. In this SLiThEr, we will briefly present some of the other ways to use this powerful tool, in particular, for chemistry applications. The topics will likely be more applicable to the general chemistry classroom, but may find use in Inorganic courses as well. Our presenter will be Leigh Nataro from Moravian University, and a certified Desmos presenter. Please sign up here in advance, and you will get a Zoom link that day.
