My Notes
Description
This Oxford Chemistry Primer is an excellent companion text for either general chemistry or a sophomore level inorganic chemistry course.  Chapters distill and review the most important information on atomic structure, Lewis structures, diatomic molecules, VSEPR, hybrid orbitals, and MO theory for simple polyatomic molecules.  Students find this book very readable, and it is filled with helpful figures and tables.  One disadvantage is there is almost no treatment of transition metal complexes.  Excellent value!  $19.95 for paperback, 96 pages.
Implementation Notes

I add this as a Highly Recommended companion text for general chemistry and for my sophomore inorganic chemistry course and direct students to relevant chapters after they have read their primary text.
