Interactive Online Network of inorganic Chemists
IONiC began as a collaborative venture in 2005 by inorganic chemists at predominantly undergraduate institutions (PUIs). The original investment of time and money in 2005 has resulted in funding from NITLE and NSF (CCLI) for the development of a website known as VIPEr (Virtual Inorganic Pedagogical Electronic resource) as a forum for developing and disseminating course materials, sharing best practices in the training of undergraduate researchers, and networking amongst professors.
