Ursinus College is actively searching for a 1-year, part-time science writer in residence.  This is an HHMI-funded position with generous salary.  Main responsibilities are teaching one course in "Science Writing" per semester, with other lectures and activities developed in conjunction with our "Center for Science and the Common Good".  The position does not include relocation costs or provide housing (the prior person who held this position was local to the Philadelphia area).

If you know of anyone who may be interested or a good candidate for the position, or have any questions about the position, please feel free to contact me.  We are happy to reach out to potential candidates.  More information can be found at http://https://www.ursinus.edu/live/profiles/1380-science-writer-in-residence-part-time-1-year/templates/details/profiles-jobs.php.

Hi Amanda,

I advertised it out on the twittersphere to Chemjobber and others, so it should get some attention. An interesting opportunity for those interested in science writing!
