How air/water sensitive is dichlorotris(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium(II)? We already weighed it out in air and put it under nitrogen and it looks okay!

If I remember right, when it's not in solution it's pretty air stable but not moisture stable. I'd avoid weighing it out in air during humid days. I don't think it catches fire or anything--just slowly decomposes.

We've just used some [RuCl2(PPh3)3] that had been previously opened in air, closed tightly, and then left on the shelf for 5 years. It worked fine for us in an experiment we re-started this year.
