Howdy y'all. Flo here. I am busy getting all set for the upcoming ACS meeting in Dallas. During the meeting we will be celebrating that most evil of holidays, St. Patrick's Day. Celebrating the person that drove my ancestors from Ireland just sends shivers down my spine (a very serious thing for a snake). So while you partake in a day of revelry, I will be holding a quiet vigil in honor of all things serpentine. But I did want to take a moment announce our official VIPEr meet up that is going to be taking place at the City Tavern (http://citytaverndowntown.com/). It will be on Monday March 17th from 5-7 pm. That's right between our Monday afternoon session co-sponsored with CENTC and before Sci-Mix. Members of the leadership council are going to be there and will be providing appetizers and non-adult beverages. I know Sheila Smith is a huge fan of the color green, so she is going to be thrilled if everyone is in their finest St. Patty’s attire. Feel free to bring your students (remember, I said free food).
