IONiC will be descending upon the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO this summer for the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) from July 31 through August 4. We would like to highlight the following opportunities:

• All VIPEr community members are encouraged to submit an abstract to give a talk highlighting their development and use of VIPEr learning objects. The symposium will also include stories of the role of the VIPEr community in the professional development of faculty at various career stages.  Symposium title: Teaching Inorganic and General Chemistry with VIPEr Learning Objects

• VIPEr member Kari Young has organized a symposium for general chemistry faculty to present their experiences in fostering student success. Symposium title: Fostering Success in General Chemistry

• A half-day VIPEr workshop is open to both experienced and new users of the site. Workshop title: Introduction to IONiC/VIPEr: Using and Sharing Inorganic Chemistry Education Resources

The abstract submission deadline for both symposia is February 28.
