Inorganic friends. Who do you use for CHN? My current vendor has gone downhill and I won’t use them again. My invoice on a rushed air sensitive sample was “not forwarded” and it is now a week later and only my follow up email prompted a response. In my more recent interaction with them, I had to email to request my data after it was not sent to me after a month or 6 weeks. Thanks.

I use Midwest Microlabs. I am not sure how good they are with very air-sensitive stuff, as my compounds I've sent are all bench-stable.

I heard several additional recommendations for MIdwest Microlabs so I gave them a try with my most recent samples and they got me the results within at most 3-4 hours after receiving the samples. Amazing. Very pleased with the service. Competitive prices. I had an organic ligand and a moisture sensitive Ti complex and they both analyzed pure. I will definitely use them again.

Hi Adam,

Nice. Also, good to know my non-hits recently are probably from purity issues and I need to get my students to re-crystallize their compounds more.

I used Midwest Microlab all through grad school.  They always did great with some very air sensitive samples, and even small amounts. Highly recommend.
